Going Home by Bridgette K Schnider
Inspiration for this work comes from the book “Gate of the Heart: understanding the writings of the Báb” by Nader Saiedi. The author touches upon passages by the Báb that are not yet translated into English. he describes that the Báb offered some symbols to His followers for the purpose of the remembrance of God though they are not talismanic or magical. One such symbol has seven concentric circles divided by 19 inscribed by a square representing such themes as unity, divine covenant, and praise of God. additionally, the Bahá’í Prayer recited for the departed at internment concludes with six verses that are said 19 times each, which is the same number of spaces in the clay.
